Portlo
Security

A trust page for freelancers handling client files and money.

Portlo is built to reduce payment friction without making freelancers explain the platform from scratch to every client.

Stripe for payments

Card handling stays inside Stripe's payment infrastructure. Portlo does not store raw payment card details.

Firebase-backed data layer

Authentication and application data are handled through Firebase services with transport security and access controls.

Scoped portal access

Client portals are shared through unique links so freelancers can keep project delivery separated by client.

Operational transparency

We publish product changes and support security questions so freelancers know how the platform evolves.

Security practices

Authentication

User sign-in is handled through Firebase Authentication, including email and Google-based flows.

Data handling

Application data and files are scoped to the authenticated user and product workflow rather than exposed publicly by default.

Payments

Stripe handles payment collection, billing checkout, and customer billing portal functionality.
